Cesme Peninsula Tour
Route
Starting in Alacati, our tour conquers the Cesme Peninsula from south to north. 80& of this e-bike trip will be on paved roads surrounding the region, taking in spectacular sea views, fields, vineyards and historical sites.
Highlights
- Observing vegetation such as wild birds and sea cowpeas in Alaçatı Wetland, a lagoon type estuary.
- Overlooking Alaçatı Bay, one of the best windsurfing centers in the world
- The beauty of wind and waves: Photo stop at Delikli Bay
- A stroll through the artichoke, olive, wine grape and melon fields of Ovacık Village, the agricultural paradise of Çeşme
- The view from Cape Pig, the last stop west of the map of Turkey
- Dinner break in Çiftlikköy, a fishing town that smells Aegean in every aspect
- Visit to the 505-year-old Çeşme Castle Museum, which bears the traces of civilizations with its robustness, architectural structure and traces of civilizations that defy its history
- Passing through the town of Ilica, where fine sandy beaches stretch and there are hot springs in the sea that are not seen anywhere in the world
For lunch break, we will stop at Çiftlikköy or Çeşme Center.
